The headlines proclaim that so-called “palestinians”killed four Israelis ahead of peace talks. Yes,Arabs did kill four adults, and one unborn child, raising the real number to five killed. Yes. they were killed ahead of the so-called peace talks. As is usually the case in Israel, there is more to the story.
The Arabs killed five Israeli’s,likely Hamas members, but possibly Fatah too. In the dealings with Arabs killing Jews in Israel, there is a shell game going on,one side blames the other and vise versa. You never quite know who to blame and for how long. The undeniable fact that seems to be escaping the media is that this game has been going on for many years and has been documented and proven for what it is.
Back in the days when Arafat was ruling the roost in the Arab-occupied areas of Israel the Israeli’s finally had enough of his intifada methodology;the IDF took control of Arafat’s compound where his office was. By doing this the IDF was able to keep Arafat from issuing any orders to his terrorist army. The IDF was also able to sift through many of the “palestinian”Authority “official”documents.
What was discovered in Arafat’s office records was very revealing. For many years, whenever there were peace negotiations there would be a spike in violent attacks against Jews, thousands were killed in the process. Arafat would condemn the attacks in the western media, blaming “fringe”elements for the violence, saying he had no control over them. The chief terrorist would argue that the violence was a natural result of the frustration of the so-called “palestinian”people who were,by now, convinced that they had a claim to Israel’s land. What was being labeled as a popular uprising was actually an orchestrated method of applying pressure against Israel during “negotiations”to capitulate to Arab demands,or suffer more “uncontrollable”violence. What the documents revealed was an organized system whereby these attacks were funded directly from the coffers under Arafat’s control, and authorization for the attacks were signed off on by Arafat himself.
What is important about these past events,to us today,is that the person these documents revealed was responsible for issuing the money to these terrorists was Abu Mazen, also know as Mahmoud Abbas, the same one Netanyahu referred to as “my partner in peace”this week in DC. Abu Mazen was the paymaster for the attackers, directly and personally bankrolling the entire operation of each and every attack,no wonder he wants to work under an alias nowadays.
Now we have a new version of the same old game, some Arab independence group rises up and attacks Israelis and the media claims it is just another spat of popular uprising, uncontrollable,a natural reaction of oppressed and downtrodden so-called “palestinians.”What they do not realize is that some people do have a memory longer than yesterday’s headlines. Too bad the media’s collective memory only goes back to the back page of today’s reporting. Since our gatekeepers are derelict in their duties,we will have to deal with Jews being slaughtered on the hilltops of Judea and Samaria —again. I guess the global news organs will revive the old headlines, dubbing the victims of this newest intifada as “sacrifices for peace”—again. As if there was something glorious about the death of these poor souls because their lives were offered up on the altar of Arab appeasement. How sick.
Christians and Jews around the globe should be outraged. Mass protests should be spontaneously popping up in every free country to condemn the violent actions of this twisted people, the so-called “palestinians.”Some may be appalled that I would refer to the so-called “palestinians”as a twisted people. If you are one of them,I would assert that you are part of the problem. The reality is,most Christians probably don’t even know that five Jews were slaughtered this past week,or that two more Jews were viciously attacked in the same fashion later in the week. I would go so far as to say that some do not even realize that there were “peace negotiations”held in DC this week. These same people would not know that after the murder of the five Jews outside of Kiryat Arba there was singing and dancing in the streets of the Arab occupied areas of Israel,to celebrate the renewal of attacks on Israelis. Herein lies another key point, the populace of the Arab occupied areas of Israel want Hamas in power because they view Abass as too soft on Israelis. This is why Abu Mazen has held off elections for his office for nearly two years because he fears that he would loose to Hamas candidates. Abu’s term expired on January 9,2009. World leaders have been oddly silent on the perpetual dictatorship of Abu Mazen because the alternative is a Hamas lead government like the one in Gaza. Even the most brazen among world politicians would have a hard time with their own constituencies if they cooperated with a Hamas government.
Sadly, there are not any Christian organizations doing anything more than issuing letters of condemnation for the recent attacks in Israel. Mostly, these letters are so weakly worded that they praise Abu Mazen for continuing with the negotiations in spite of the attacks, thanking him for supposedly pursuing the perpetrators. Is the Church so dull that they do not recognize the evil being openly perpetrated against Israel? Do we not yet see the harsh reality that our Jewish brothers are up against, that the Arabs are merely continuing the war they have been waging for six decades, ever since the Israeli war of independence in 1948? What, just what, will it take to wake the Church to the facts? What will it take for Christians to hit the streets in protest, write their leaders, write Israel’s leaders supporting them in their struggle?
The most common response I get from Christians to my comments about this issue is that “G-d will deliver Israel, the Bible says so.”Think for a moment, step out of your comfort zone for just a second, and answer this question:what if,just what if,G-d wanted to use the Church as a vessel to help deliver Israel from Her enemies? Consider the words from the book of James, verse 4:17:“Anyone,then,who knows the good he ought to do and doesn’t do it,sins.”The facts are glaring, for those interested in them. It is not difficult to find the correct story,if you only look for it. I realize that not everyone has been following these issues for 20 years like we have,if you find yourself wanting to know more you can read some of the articles from Builders of Zion on this subject and others. “Whose Right of Return?” is a good place to begin,it sets forth who has a legitimate right to Judea and Samaria. For a look at the larger picture you could look at the “Connecting the Dots Series”where you will find a timely look at the Islamic Revolution in the world and in the Americas. Whatever you do,get the information and use it.
Islam is seeking to dominate the planet for their pseudo-god,the Arab-Israeli conflict, though key,is only one facet of this larger struggle. Satan desires to have his foot on G-d’s throne, the site of the earthly representation of G-d’s throne is the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Every power and principality in the heavenly realm is focused on this reality. Satan wants to dominate the Temple Mount as long as he can, only Israel stands in his way. The entire Middle East conflict boils down to one tiny piece of real estate,Mount Moriah, where G-d’s thumbprint is,the place from which His Law shall go forth. For my entire Christian life I have heard songs in Church about being part of the “Army of the Lord”and “Onward Christian Soldiers,”yet, few Christians have a clue as to what genuinely being in G-d’s Army entails.
We will see another, perhaps larger, intifada in Israel in the coming months. Jews will be the target of attack-after-attack,Jewish blood will flow through the streets of Israel —again. What will the Church do? What will you do? Become active in the struggle for the Biblical Heartland. You can make a difference, write your political leaders to demand that they help Israel to stand in the face of Arab-Muslim aggression. Write letters of encouragement to the leadership of Israel to stand against world pressure to capitulate to the Arabs squatting on Judea and Samaria. Team up with your Jewish brothers and sisters holding onto the hilltops of the Land of Israel. Become active on every level, when there are protests to support Israel, become part;if you are not able to be there physically you can send support to those who are able to go. Enlist in the Maccabean Resistance so you can be kept abreast of what is happening in Israel. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, but also put boots to your prayers.
