Carlos Bledsoe Pleads Guilty Admits Al Qaeda Connection
According to a CNN report this morning Islamic terrorist Carlos Bledsoe, AKA Abdulhakim Muhammad, an American from Tennessee and convert to Islam, wrote a letter to the judge in his case to plead guilty. Carlos was the gunman who shot and killed two soldiers outside of a recruiting center in Little Rock, Arkansas in June of 2009.
In his letter to Judge Herb Wright Jr. Carlos plead guilty and said he had ties to Al Qaeda in Yemen. It seems that Yemen has been a source of terrorist recruitment and training for quite some time. Only recently, after the December 25, “underwear bomber” attempt to blow up an airliner over U.S. airspace did the Obama Administration get serious about addressing the threat in Yemen. The growing Al Qaeda presence in Yemen has long been in the cross hairs of the intelligence community.
