Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan Accused of Jihadist Attack

U.S.Army Major Hasan

U.S.Army Major Hasan

Thursday,November 5,2009,twelve killed and more than thirty wounded in Fort Hood Jihadist attack. The accused perpetrator is Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan who was reportedly stopped from killing and wounding more when he was shot by a civilian woman police officer. Hasan is recovering from his wounds tonight in a comfortable hospital bed with the best care tax dollars can provide.

The mainstream news agencies have been reporting all sorts of things about this man, confusion seems to be the order of the day. Most were reporting the shooter was dead, now we learn he is still alive and in custody. Two others were supposedly arrested as well,no other info is available on them yet.

Reports are popping up in various reputable blogs that Hasan, the accused shooter,is a devout Muslim with so-called “palestinian”parents and has been the focus of a FBI investigation for internet postings that discussed suicide bombings and other threats. The FBI investigation of Hasan was dropped.

Much of the information about Hasan floating around at this point is less than verified and is mostly based on comments by anonymous sources. We need to give the light of day a little time to expose the facts and realities of just who this man is,what his motivation was and who may have been involved with him.

What does seem to be clear is that this man is a devout Muslim and this attack fits the Jihadist playbook perfectly. We all need to keep the media honest on this one,no coverup and diversionary tactics to deflect the story of the Islamic roots of this attack. Make no mistake, this attack is Islamic, just like the Arkansas ambush of the recruiting center. The real question is:will the media report on it.

Stay tuned.
