Tamimi: Jews Never Lived in Jerusalem

In response to Israel’s Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu’s comments earlier this week that Jerusalem is not a settlement and It is the sovereign capital of the State of Israel, the so-called “palestinian” authority’s chief Islamic judge, Sheikh Tayseer Rajab Tamimi asserted Wednesday that PM Netanyahu’s claims to Jerusalem are false. The legal and religious cleric continued to claim that “Jerusalem is an Arab and Islamic city and it always has been.” Tamimi went so far as to say that “archaeological evidence collected since 1967 “failed to prove that Jews had a history or presence in Jerusalem or their ostensible temple had ever existed.” Tamimi continued by condemning rabbis and what he referred to as extremist organizations for forging archaeological evidence in order to “erase the Arab and Islamic character of Jerusalem.”
This mad man’s rantings are so far removed from reality that it would hardly be worth commenting on, except for the fact that it exposes yet another aspect of the mind games Islam plays on it’s adherents.
First, let me debunk Tamimi’s comments in the words of the Waqf: the Supreme Moslem Council (Waqf) of Jerusalem, in a Temple Mount guide published in 1925, contradicts Tamimi’s assertions. On page 4 of the publication the Waqf states, “Its identity with the site of Solomon’s Temple is beyond dispute. This, too, is the spot, according to universal belief, on which ‘David built there an altar unto the L-rd…’, citing the source in 2 Samuel XXIV,25. In addition, on page 16, the pamphlet makes reference to the underground area in the south-east corner of the Mount, which is refers to as Solomon’s Stables. “Little is known for certain of the history of the chamber itself,” the guide reads. “It dates probably as far back as the construction of Solomon’s Temple. According to Josephus, it was in existence and was used as a place of refuge by the Jews at the time of the conquest of Jerusalem by Titus in the year 70 A.D.”
Back to my point, Islam has endeavored, quite successfully, to keep its people impoverished and uneducated so they are easily manipulated. By controlling all media outlets, print, radio and television, the Muslim leaders are able to spoon feed the masses their vile misrepresentation of Jews as an enemy that is the cause of all their woes. Just as Tamimi spews forth such ridiculous notions that to the thinking world is so preposterous that it hardly seems worth addressing, so the chorus of political leaders and school teachers and their text books continue to mold the thinking of the downtrodden populace, perpetuating the hatred of all that is Jewish.
As the whole of the Islamic world is poisoned from birth with hatred of the Jews, so the Jewish Nation is to blame for the squalid conditions the majority of Arabs live in. Muslim governments are constantly stirring crowds blaming the Jews for having done any number of things to be the cause of all their societal problems, thus deflecting the harsh reality that the Sharia based governments are an outright failure. Recently in Iran, when the elections were considered by most to be rigged there were riots in the streets. The Iranian government deflected the issue by publicly blaming Israel for trying to overthrow the Iranian government by spreading a lie that the election was corrupt. When Muslims revolt, Jews are blamed and the people are reunited because their hatred of the Jews is stronger than any differences they may have with each other.
With immense oil wealth the government of Saudi Arabia could afford to keep every household in the kingdom in a comfortable condition. Instead, the Saudi royal family prefers to export, at great expense, the Wahabi brand of Islam to the entire world. Eighty percent of the mosques in the United States are Wahabi, the same sect that Osama Bin Laden adheres to. Rather than provide for their people, as any good government would, most Saudi’s live in third-world conditions — and Israel is to blame, of course.
So, we see the comments of Tamimi in societal context, brazen mistruths, nothing short of propaganda intended to misdirect the masses that have been kept in this Islamic fog of deception and manipulation. If these comments were isolated and unrelated to the whole of the Muslim umah they would be laughable because they are so ridiculous. Seen in the setting of a misguided and easily agitated Muslim populace the rantings of Tamimi are nothing more than calculated propaganda purposed to turn the Arab on the street against the Jews. The so-called “palestinian” authority has mastered the art of spinning lies to legitimize themselves in the eyes of the so-called “palestinian” Arabs that are forced by their leaders to live in such pitiful conditions. Rather than recognizing the corrupt governing body that funnels off billions of dollars of world aid into Swiss bank accounts Israel is blamed at every turn for the lack of infrastructure and services that could provide a better standard of living for these poor people. In fact, it is the Israelis that have provided what little infrastructure they do have and Israeli hospitals care for Arabs equally as well as Jews and do so for free in most cases.
The major news media outlets seem to have shrugged off Tamimi’s comments and do not appear to be printing them. This makes quite the statement to how far fetched the statements were, even the anti-Israel media passes over the opportunity to print some negative press. I would not be spending so much time on this subject either if it were not for the glaring example of Islamic repression and manipulation it provides.
