The nation of Israel was re-born sixty one years ago, the fulfillment of ancient Biblical Prophecies.  After centuries of persecution and expulsions from most of their various host countries the remnant of Jacob are returning to settle in the land promised to Abraham by G-d Himself.  Abraham or Moses would have given anything to live during this time, the Prophets saw the events of today and rejoiced, even as Jews were being marched into exile.  Builders of Zion celebrates the modern revival of the Jewish Nation of Israel, sixty one years young.

Appropriately enough, Israel chooses to pay respect to the fallen, those who have paid the ultimate earthly price to enable Jews to live in security and freedom.   Never again shall they be uprooted and may Israel fill every inch of the borders promised to our father Abraham, with no retreat.  May the blood of every fallen Israeli, victims of Arab aggression and terrorism, be remembered by HaShem on this Memorial Day.  May the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob raise up an entire army for every fallen soul to strengthen Israel and bring Shalom to Her borders.
