If Americans desire the Blessings of G-d, then we must, first and foremost, be a blessing to His People, Israel. If we do not address this paramount concern, how our nation relates to Israel, there will eventually be no political process to concern ourselves with; our nation will plummet so much further into Divine Judgment that there will be little remaining to salvage.

Israel is, once again, establishing facts on the ground — this time this is happening in the earthquake ravaged country of Haiti. Immediately after the quake Israel dispatched search and rescue teams and a fully functioning field hospital. Placing the “baby Jesus” in the midst of so much pagan trappings and calling it “holy” is about as effective as going to a McDonalds and calling yourself a hamburger. For any Church Body or Christian to be found neutral on the issues concerning the remnant of Jacob and the Arab-Muslim aggression against the very act of Jewish return to the hills of Judea and Samaria is to be found lukewarm

Judging from the efficient preparation before the attack, deliberately divesting himself of his worldly possessions, arming himself with effective ammunition for such an attack and the purposeful manner in which he carried out his regular routine Major Hasan in no way resembles a distraught madman with an axe to grind with his comrades. From witness accounts, pursuing wounded soldiers fleeing their attacker, Hasan calmly and methodically continued to shoot people until he was sure they were dead.

Reports are now surfacing that Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, the alleged shooter in yesterday’s attack on soldiers at Fort Hood, is born of Jordanian parents (the media is stating so-called “palestinian” parents). Witnesses to the shooting are being quoted as saying – and the Army is confirming – that Hasan was shouting the typical refrain used by Muslim Jihadists while perpetrating their murderous acts touting how great their pseudo-god is.

Eight years, just long enough to have become numb to the loss of loved ones and so much we held dear. The nation is “moving on”, thoughts of that horrible day are too weighty for our enlightened consciousness.

18 Elul, this year, September 7, is the eightieth anniversary of the 1929 riots and massacre in Israel. In late August of 1929, after several days of contention over Jerusalem’s Jews worshiping at the Western Wall a rumor was spread by the Mufti that the Jews were burning the Aqsa Mosque. Riots broke out in Jerusalem and….
